In 1975 I purchased my first and only Seiko watch on a visit to Fiji (I was 17 y.o.). Over the years I have had it serviced only 3 times and it is still going strong. Being an automatic watch means I have never needed to worry about replacing batteries. The only time it lets me down is when I am confined to my hospital bed after an operation, and I don't have the same arm movements to keep it wound up. Its a bit battered looking now but I wouldn't change it for anything other than another Seiko. I know it will last for years to come. Thank you Seiko
