SEIKO Galante Spring Drive Collection

The new flagship collection from SEIKO, Galante is a range of sophisticated timepieces housing the world reknown Spring Drive calibre.

Spring Drive, introduced to the world in 2005, is the most important new movement created by SEIKO since the quartz Astron in 1969. It is based on the foundation of all mechanical watch technology, a mainspring, but uses an entirely new system for time regulation that delivers the equivalent to 1 second per day accuracy, and, uniquely, glide-motion hands that represent the continuous, even motion of time.

Galante takes Spring Drive one step further with the introduction of the Spring Drive Chronograph and G.M.T. models.

The Spring Drive Chronograph movement is a masterpiece of luxury watch making. The precision of the movement, which has 416 parts, is assured by 50 jewels. It features not only a chronograph accurate to one second a day, but also a G.M.T. indicator, a calendar, and a 72 hour power reserve.

The SEIKO Spring Drive G.M.T. is perfect for the international traveller. The G.M.T. hand can be set without disturbing the one-second-a-day precision of the Spring Drive movement, and, like all the hands, it moves in perfect glide motion, reflecting the true natural flow of time.

The design and style of SEIKO Galante is as unique as the Spring Drive movement itself. Bold lines and soft circular shapes combine to create an elegant classic appearance. Three dimensional dials are clearly laid out and bold numerals or markers ensure readability at a glance.

Stainless Steel & gold plated cases protect the heart of the Galante Collection, and the finest Cordovan, Ostleg & Crocodile straps compliment the appearance.
