2003, saw the re-introduction of the SEIKO 'Arctura' collection, and with it, a new star in the Arctura Kinetic Chronograph. This model reveals yet another ground breaking development in watch-making in the new caliber used with this watch. The new Caliber 7L22 movement has four times as many wheels in its componentry than an ordinary quartz watch, and the movement is hand assembled. This new technology not only allows for a watch with a Chronograph to run without a battery, but also to maintain the style and sleek lines, the Seiko Arctura is renowned for.
